David’s strong leadership skills led him to become the chairman of the Marketing Technology Advisory Council, the group that drives technology initiatives and partnerships for the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World.

In addition to a strong technologist, David has been an effective advocate for technology policy which has helped all brokers compete more effectively.   He was instrumental in driving the on-going overhaul of IDX Policies which have given brokers more flexibility to offer pendings and solds on their website, co-mingle data among multiple MLSs, and supporting RESO data dictionary and web API standards. His effective advocacy efforts earned him a position as a broker serving on the Multiple Listing Technology and Emerging Issues Advisory Board and Multiple Listing Issues & Policy Committee for the National Association of Realtors®.

During Mr. Gumpper’s 24 years as a technologist, he has deployed and managed information technology platforms for the University of Dentistry and Medicine of New Jersey, Ricoh Corporation, and Novartis Pharmaceuticals before moving to the real estate industry  in 2003.

David Gumpper currently resides in Bradenton, FL with his wife Kelly. David is a REALTOR(R) and has a degree in Information Management from Eckerd College, St Petersburg, FL.
